After getting his first producing credit in television for a segment about artist Phil Frost for WNET’s City Arts series, Alex started filming with Phil as he worked on other “street art” projects. Screened at the NY Video Festival and Edinburgh Film Festival (in a program curated by Mo’Wax Records in 1996), the film has never been distributed and has gained a sort of cult status among Frost’s admirers. With a fantastic soundtrack by some well-known artists (some of who gave only their verbal permission to use their music for film festivals), it will be difficult to every show the film widely. In this clip, Frost describes his favorite color, “Usted de Baño Green”.
